easics collects personal data for a number of reasons.

All data is stored on protected servers and is only accessible by easics specified personnel.

We will not use this information to add you to subscription channels other than the original reason for collection.

We do not communicate, nor transfer, your data to external parties without informing you and receiving your authorisation.

Under GDPR you have the right to access and rectify all data we store regarding your person.

For legal proceedings, complaints can be lodged at the Belgian Information Security Authority (GBA/APD: https://gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) or any other authority with jurisdiction.

We collect your information under legitimate interest, in order to conduct our business.

We only collect contact information as provided by you.

This data is kept as long as it is deemed mutually useful for both you and us.

We collect your information under legitimate interest, in order to allow you to effectively work on our systems.

We only collect the minimal data to identify and authenticate you for your required work and access.

This data is kept as long as access to our system is deemed necessary by both parties (typically as long as projects are running).

We collect and extend your information under legitimate interest.

This includes all information as provided by you, as well as intermediate and final evaluations and annotations.

This full set of information is kept at most 6 months after the end of the application procedure.

After these 6 months, we keep minimal identifiers and the final evaluation on legal grounds.

These minimal identifiers are typically your name, e-mail and date of birth. This information is retained for 5 years.

In rare cases we might ask you for explicit consent to keep the full data set for longer than 6 months.

If so, we will keep the data for up to one year longer.

In this case you also gain the right to request deletion of this data, in which case we will again only keep the legally required subset mentioned earlier.
